Pharos Lighthouse

An entirely conjectural model to demonstrate one theory about the Pharos Lighthouse mechanism. This is a complex Heliostat (sun signalling mirror) which incorporates adjustments for the transit and elevation of the sun and allows continuous scanning of the horizon. Wood, Copper, Brass, Cord, etc. Height 40cm (16 Inches) Width 28cm (11 Inches).
