Verbiest Steam Carriage

A reconstruction of an early steam-turbine driven carriage attributed to Verbiest. This was reconstructed from a single photograph of a 17th Century model by Grimmaldi (now thought to have been destroyed during World War II). All the components were manufactured from scratch and the model just achieved movement under its own steam. Brass and Copper, Length 40cm (16 Inches).
